State of Faith
Gather everyone in a comfortable space where they can all see each other. Spread the Formatio Cards on the floor, making sure everyone can easily reach them.
Invite the participants to take a moment to think about where their faith is currently at. Encourage them to be genuine, giving permission to share about encouragements, struggles, hopes or doubts. Have them look through the cards and pick the one that best represents their current state of faith.
Go around the group and invite each person to share their chosen card, explain why they picked it and how it relates to their current state of faith.
Give anyone who ‘passed’ a second opportunity to share if they would like to.
Once each person has had the opportunity to share thank each person for sharing. You might like to give a summary of the activity or highlight some of the common themes that ran through the group.
